2000 EX to 92 CX swap options (motor, brakes, susp)
Ok guys, I know there is a search, and I already checked some stuff out on FAQ. But just have some basic questions that I'm sure many of you can answer quickly. Here is the lowdown.
I own a Stock 92 CX
My... Ex-wife owns my old 00 Civic EX coupe. Both stick.
Wife just totalled EX Coupe.
Would it be an easy swap for motor/trans to use complete EX harness for the Y8 into the CX. OR, do I have to do all the swaping and stuff converting it to OBD1. What way is simpler.
Suspension Brakes: If I threw the Y8 motor/trans in the CX, can I also just throw the complete knuckles, upper/lower control arms, brakes, etc (the whole assembly) on the front of my CX, or do I again, have to do some mismatching.
Thanks for your time breatheren, I'm just trying to weigh my options. We may just sell the EX as is because I don't have time to mess around much (juevi time is valuable), BUT, if it is a QUICK and SIMPLE swap, I may put it all in my CX. The CX is currently boring, BUT runs perfect and doesn't burn oil, the EX uses some oil.
Weighing options.
