Default 2000 civic w/ power windows - metal cable broke?

My front car window quit rolling up and down, the motor still runs.

once its taken apart I seen a metal cable is frayed and snapped in by the regulator.

it seems to connect to the bottom of the window peice, then I feel a non broken loop of same cable on the rregulator, that loop doesnt feel broke.

Can i replace this peice or does the entire regulator need removed/replaced?

thanks

just replace the regulator, it will be easier and atleast you know it won't break again
