2000 civic ex---b16 question
I was thinking...I have a ex auto tranny and I was thinking a b16 swap would be nice but I am lazy and want to keep it auto. Will the B series auto tranny fit?
I searched but didnt see anything. I have not been on this site in awhile and might not have searched it right or something. If it has already been covered please link to the thread.

Re: 2000 civic ex---b16 question (Nic)
i dont think theres a b-series auto, someone please correct me if im wrong. i did a google search and it looks like it can be done, but if ur too lazy to shift gears im sure your probably too lazy to do a bunch of custom work and fabricating.
google search like b16 auto or something and go from there, unless someone else wants to chime in. but your d-series auto will not "bolt up" to your b-series.

well for your first question no your d tranny will not work, yes there is a b series auto tranny, find an automatic 94-01 integra, but doing an auto b16 IMO is pointless, it just dont make sense

A b16 was a bad choice I meant B series...I am thinking LS atuo. I just wasnt sure that the auto tranny would fit.
I knew the d trany would not fit...just to clearify I am not a complete moron...just lazy...the other reason I want an auto is for my wife she cant drive stick....

yes a b18b (ls) with auto tranny will fit, search around a bit and you will be able to find everything you need to do the swap
