2 trannys for 50$?
can anyone tell what this could possibly be? and would you buy them if your 97 dx tranny is garbage?

he claims that one may be a vtec ( ex) tranny but he doesnt really know. Too risky?

I say worth it, really easy to tell the difference between the ex/si vs the dx/lx/vx/cx trannys. Learn to rebuild a tranny.

yeah for 50$ i cant really see how i could go wrong. Would deffinately like to know for sure which trannies they are though. Would hate to go through all the work of dropping current tranny, putting new one on, realize its busted dx 92 tranny lol
However, all 92-00 D series trannies are inter-changeable i believe

would be a smart move. Was just hoping for one of these to be a working ex tranny though, my dx is a peice of crap!

Even if one of them's a working DX trans you got off fine.
I'd pick it up, for 50 bucks you can't really go wrong, not to mention you can learn how to (unless you already know how to) rebuild them, rebuild them, and sell 'em (or hold onto them).

I leave the digging through transmissions to other people as I haven't got the time to learn ATM, but from what I hear from the trans gurus: "it's really not complicated."
