2 part question..plz answer both :)
ok 1st part-
im having a lil friendly 0-60mph time competition with some friends, basically we video ourselves doing a 0-60 and post on FB n tag em n who has the fastest wins
one buddy has a 97 eclipse GST with apperantly slight motor work,
the other who might compete is a mitsubishi 3000gt SL or somethin n maybe a subi wrx and me with my 97 EK with a it would appear modded(i just found out) LS..
so since i wanna win and all i gotta figure how to launch my civic to get the best time. what is the best way to from a dead stop launch a Bswapped civic?
2nd part-ive been informed by a friend that the LS i bought to just have a motor in my civic after my LSv went crap might be more than it seems. hes a friend of the guy i got it from and he says that it has motor work done,he told me-"It's been built. Brian said throw a hundred shot on it abd you got a rocket. Idk exactly what's done but pretty sure rods pistons ect. Ask Brian he knows for sure" now i asked brian n am waiting to see what he says but im curious if theres a way to tell if it is indeed built with out tearing it apart?
cuz if its built for all motor n i scored it for what i did..****** a hell yes

for part 1 i would say just go out and practice to see where it feels good.. and for part 2 i would ask the guy for reciepts or paperwork for the supposed built motor but other than that i think u would have to take it apart to find out

You're gonna have to tear it down to see exactly what's done. Either that or just assume and when it goes BANG and the piston comes through the hood you'll be able to see it very clearly

OP, I can move this thread to GDD if you wish, though you'll need a thick skin to read the posts that you'll get there.
