1998 Honda Civic ex fans not working
Hello new to the forums i can't find out the problem with my Honda. I've done some basic checks but no clue, i have changed the relays but both of my fans are not turning on. Ive done the paper clip to by pass and that didn't work either. Also the paper clip relay doesn't make the relay click on. But i know my fan is working because I've wired it straight to the battery and that turns the fan on.

It is essential you acquire the basic tools such as a multimeter and test light and knowledge for electrical diagnostics.
watch these videos, you'll understand a whole lot more afterwards.

Don't be a parts changer, I'm not being mean just want to help.

The two fans are independent. The one on the radiator runs with the coolant temperature switch. The one on the condenser runs with the A/C.
Pull the relay to check if the socket is melted or burnt. If it is, replace the whole fuse / relay box.
There is a fuse under the dash powering the coil for the radiator fan relay. Though I think if that circuit is down, a lot of stuff would not work.
