Default Cooling fan problem

Hey what's up honda community, it's my first time posting on a forum so bear with me. Just yesterday , I noticed my 1995 honda civic(1.5L auto) start to overheat. I figured it was the fan that went out because it was getting a bit squeaky so I knew it was going out soon. Anyway, I bought a new fan and a new radiator and just installed them. Filled with coolant and checked the hoses. I wired the fan to stay running constantly becuase I know with these cars, the fan doesn't turn on until it reaches a certain temperature. I had it like this since I bought the car about a year and a half ago and I've had no overheating problems whatsoever. Now, the fan isn't turning on at all, I bought a brand new relay and it still doesn't work. What could be the problem?

Check for voltage at the fan motor. You may have gotten a dud.

Also check the fuse of course, and pull the fuse and relay and look for any melting / burning of the sockets in the fuse box.

You don't need to rewire and second-guess the Honda engineers. It's actually a pretty smart setup that responds to the temperature of the coolant leaving the radiator rather than the engine temperature. Running the fan all the time will naturally wear it out sooner.

Connect the fan switch on the thermostat housing and then bleed the cooling system.
