i have a 1998 civic ex manual and there is a hesitation problem all the time. it just seems like im tryin to drive straight up a mountain. this problem happens in 1-5th gear and it just feels like it has no power to move. it doesnt stall out at all but it just hesitates alot. it almost feels like the spark plugs are misfiring but i just changed them and put brand new ones in so i know that isnt the problem. if any one can help it would be greatly appreciated thanks.

stock engine??? from what you are explaining it sounds like a fuel problem b/c it is in all 5 gears. maybe clogged injectors but i have never heard of them making a car bog or "hesitate". does it hesitate throughout the power band or jus in the first few thousand RPMs?

yes it has the stock engine, i will have to take a look and see what i can do about maybe cleaning the injectors or if not take it to a shop. thanks for the input
