1997 Civic Gauge cluster cant get needles out.
Alright look my friend was putting in glow gauges for me and broke my gas and temp gauge indicator. I purchased a used one but can't figure out how to get the needles out. I was gonna just turn the miles to what it reads now but I cant seem to get the numbers to move. Does anyone know how too get the needles out without breaking them? If you do please e-mail me at Deuceishell15187@yahoo.com or Lucid1551@yahoo.com ASAP

Re: 1997 Civic Gauge cluster cant get needles out. (chads)
it is possible to install the glow guages with out removing any of the needles...
when i installed them in my prelude, while taking the needles out, it off set their 0 marker. like mph was off, etc.
so i purchased a new cluster, it is possible to install with out removing needles..
just roll *not fold* the insert into a taco shell type deal, and move the needles so they are in simular direction, then slip it over the needles... :-)
then WAM sucka she all Goood :-) and after that is doen you can lift the edges etc and apply your double stick tape
hope this helps
