1997 civic b16a starting and running issue
i currrently own a 97 civic with a b16a obd1. i dont drive it everyday so it sits sometimes , anyway it has a running issue. it will run fantastic when the vehicle sits in cold weather for a long time but as soon as u start driving it for a good 2 miles it slowly starts loosing power , and then eventually it just dies and will not start at all . i have noticed tho that the colder it is outside the better it runs untill it warms up. i have replaced the jumper harness at the ecu that adapts the obd1 to obd2 ,because the pins were coming out of the connector. thought that would fix it , but did not. i also replaced the distributor because the winding and secondary resistance on the coil was a little high. i suspect the ecu is faulty but i havent really confirmed it 100% if anyone has any guidance on this issue or has had or seen this problem before fill free to sent a comment or pm me . thanks
