Default problem starting 99 civic cupe with b16a swap (HELP ASAP)

i swaped a obd1 jdm b16a in my 99 civic coupe and my civic is obd2 and i put a obd2 distributor harness and ecu and injectors in my car. i got it to run but it wasnt running to full power tues night and yesterday (weds) the car started and was ideling right above 0 just barley running.... so i went down the street and i put it in nutral and the car just died.... so the only way i could drive it was if i steped on the gas right when i started it.... so i drive it to my friends and he got it to idel at 1 then we drove it around the block and pulled in his driveway... then when i went to leave it wont start. it wants to turnover but i cant get it to spark what do you think is causing this problem? distributor is brand new.
thanks kyle

if its not sparking you might check your coil but they get a little pricey you might have a defective cap or rotor so check those too but it could also be just a fuse so it wouldnt be a bad idea to start playing with that power tester

did you check all of your fuses and run your way down through the sparking system piece by piece with a multimeter to make sure it all has adequate voltage? thats easier than just buying parts to throw at it.
