i gotta question, does my 1996 Civic Ex 4 Dr have Vtec in it?

It should have a d16y8 engine which does have VTEC. It does not say it on the valve cover though. (Or at least mine doesnt).

yea i found a SK2 for like 229. but then again there was an OBX which was lesser.

How about the one thats in your car now? Its regarded as the best OEM Honda D-series IM and the prices would seem to be right to me.

cheaper isnt always better.. fitment, quality.. do u have 3inch piping all the way back .. or just 3 inch tip ..

i also have a 96 ex... i believe it they did not stamp the VTEC on the valve cover, but trust me its there

More likely than not if you don't even know your car has vtec, it doesn't have enough done to the engine to justify an aftermarket IM

dude your burning alot of coolant!!!! fix that, white smoke shouldnt come out of your exhaust

he lives in IL, its pretty cold here last time i steped outside (well not today 50's ) but normally at night and what not its cold and a car will put out white smoke when you start it up and rev it..

P.S. dont rev your car when its cold like that

Well I live in Alabama and it gets cold like that, I thought just about all over the USA it gets cold enough to see it but I guess not. And yeah don't rev your engine like that unless it's properly warmed. BTW aftermarket intake is pretty much useless on a stock engine.
