1996 Civic DX, D16Z6 headswap, CEL 4 CKP
96 Civic D16Y7
D16Z6 head
Boomslang OBD2A-OBD1 harness
stock P28 ECU
D16Y8 cam and stock Y8 cam gear
timing is dead on
When I first fired it up, I got CEL 4, CKP sensor.
I swapped the internals from my Y7 dist into the Z6 dist since I knew my Y7 dist was good. Repinned the wires into a Z6 dist clip. The engine harness side I rewired to a Z6 dist clip. All those wires matched my Helms manual.
Fired it up, same thing, CEL 4 CKP.
The wires on my Y7 dist don't match any diagrams I've found on here, so I traced the wires to their respective sensor versus guessing with bad diagrams from here.
This is how I have the dist connector pinned.
(ICM: YEL/GRN) (CYPP: TAN) (TDCP: TAN/BLU) (CKPP: BLU/GRN)
(XxxxxxxxxxX) (CKPG: BLU/YEL) (TDCG: WHT/BLU) (CYPG: WHT)
Thoughts?
