Default 1994 Honda Civic DX Check Engine Loight

My 1994 Honda Civic DX the check engine light came on. I took it to a mechanic, he tested it and said that it meant Code 9. What does Code 9 mean and what is wrong with the car as far as what part is deffective and I need to repair......Thanks in advance Hondito 84

wrong forum. go try the civic specific forum, everything here is 70's-80's hondas.

Code 9 is a cylinder position sensor. Is the car misfiring or running abnormally?

No is not, what is a cylinder position sensor and what is that telling me, that one of the 4 cylinders is not working properly or what.....I definitely appreciate your reply to this question. Thanks

He did not now, and yes I asked but he said that he had to check in the book to see what it was. He did say that it wasnt nothing serious that I could still run the car....what can you advise or tell me about code 9 since it seems that you now what it is

It runs fine, no misfire or anything like that
