1994 Civic Del Sol BAD MPG
I have a 94 Del Sol S body with every Si option put on, so it's running with a D16Z6 on it. The car is only getting 22 MPG on a complete highway only tank, and gets even worse in city. I'm driving on 18" Enkies with tires that have crappy tread, but could the tires really be making me get gas mileage so low just by them selves? I tried restarting the ECU, any help you guys could give me I would really appreciate! Thanks

get rid of those 18 inch wheels and put on some 14 or 15 inch tires 95 percent ur gas mileage will increase cuz of the smaller diameter of the wheel vs the bigger one also i wouldnt hurt either by doing a complete tune-up (cap, rotor, plugs, wires, fuel filter, and pcv valve)

Ahaha, yes, I know, 18's are a bit much, I'm looking for smaller stock ones but availability and money is making it hard for me. I'll try just a basic tune-up, thanks.
