Default 1992 Hatch

Can one one please enlighten me a little bit about the motor of a 92 Hatch. I am looking to buy one and found one for 3,000. Problem is there is no power steering. Now I am searching to find what it would look like with power steering. There is also no alarm but there is a alarm tipe horn under the hood. So anyone got pictures floating around of Stock Engine Bays of a 1992 Civic?

Powersteering seriously isn't a necessity in a light car like a Civic hatchback.

Trust me, I know from personal experience.

The only difference you'll notice is that whenever you're at a dead stop it's harder to turn the wheel...but even then, it's kind of a workout and helps you get buff

Yes, I would agree. Today I took a test drive in it. The car has 160K miles on the hatch and 80k on the engine he swapped in. Its the same as the stock motor. Has an intake, exhaust, and cat-less exhaust system. Sounds loud but doesn't bother me. Does need a new fender tho and could use a paint job. All for $3,000. I am depating. or

As for what motor and model I am not sure. I know some models do not come with P/S and I didn't ask. I will get back to ya'll

i you really like the car I would offer like 2k, i got a mint 92 si with mint black interior for 2300... but beware if he already swapped a motor in the car be careful, look at the wiring and make sure everything looks stock, that last thing you wanted to do is get a car with getto rigged wiring

True. He did show me recets from the mechanic with a list of things done with the car (timing belt, clutch, head gasket, ect) and has recets for everything. The interior isn't so mint. Headunit falling out, can bearly see the A/C controls ect. NO TACH! Thanks for your advice. Ill try my best.
