I wouldnt say its ridiculous but its not needed. I had 16x7's on my civic, perfect size for EK's IMO. On an EG I personally like 15x7's, the lighter the better.

found a thread on here about 15x8 wheels and seems the only issue possible is control arm contact in the rear... having a 35mm offset in rear and 40mm offset in front makes it all gravy

gonna roll 15x8 slips on 205 45 15 of undetermined rubber...

theres a vendor on ebay that sells them for 550 shipped

15x7.5's are availableat good-win-racing.com for 500 plus unknown shipping cost

15x7's at jhpusa.com for pretty good price

and 15x6.5 for 445 shipped at jaydm.com

a 15x8 will most likely rub w/ an 205/50 tire.. so i dont really see the point for daily. track wheels.. yes i have considered it. id say 15x7 just to be on the safe side!

why would you run 15x8's with 205 tires anyway? just so it looks like your wheel is too wide for your tire? O_o? you should get wider wheels because you want wider tires.

really depends on how you want your car to sit.

imo the more rubber on the road the better. turn harder, brake faster.

15x8 is fine. im running wider and bigger than that.

you can run 8" wide with a +38 offset all around. you should learn about offset and you'll really figure out what yuo can run.

course theres arguments that you can just use stickier tires...but who wants to replace tires several times a year?

i realize this, my point being the wider the tire the more clearance issues youll have. so being a 15x8 w/ a 205 in the rear and a 225 in front might work.. cause ive been considering that..

well and the steelies i got on the mug right now are wrapped in 205 50 15 of some cheap directional tires and i love the amount stuck to the road..... im realizing 15x7 will be fine... i have no clue how wide my steelies are.... but i think ill save the 50 bucks and get 15x7

anyone know how wide the steelies from an xB are???
