would 16x7 with a 40mm offset scrape on a 4dr eg? thinkin about getting the gunmetal rota cicruit-8's

It depends on the offset as well as the tire size, which you didn't mention. If you use the proper 16" tire size for your car - which is 205/40-16 - it shouldn't rub. I don't know about the offset though, hopefully someone familiar with the EG can chime in.

 

it has a 40 mm offset, and i think eg's are right around 40 if not 40...
