15" or 16" Rota Slipstreams on 93 Hatch
Just wanted some opinions from some of you with experience with Rotas and Hatchbacks. This will be my first set of aftermarket wheels. I have a 1993 DX HB (white). Other than price, is there any advantage to 15" vs. 16" Slipstreams? I plan on using Azenis tires and Tein S (soft) springs. I dont want to rub but I do want to fill the wheel well nicely.
Any recommendations would be appreciated.
Thanks

yeah... i want to 16" streams on my ride, but i wish they came in gold instead of bronze, but bronze would look good on my white 93 i think, but i hope to get black or bronze...

yea, personally like rota slipstreams...an advantage of them are that they're pretty lightweight and well worth the money...i think the black ones would look really clean on a white car

OK, the question is...15" or 16"...pros and cons of either. Not what color would look cool. I am going with Black.

I have 16"s.
15x6.5" 11.9lbs
16x7" 14.5lbs
They have +40 & +45mm offset. 4x100 4x114.3 5x100, 5x114.3 bolt patterns. You can run alot better (meaty) tires off the 15s. I don't want my 16s anymore. I don't what my slipstreams period really, I want forged wheels again. Cast aren't too good.
You can get some wheel weights from. www.wheelweights.net

Can anyone recommend the appropriate offset for the 93 HB? I live in a rainy area of the South and I really dont want to sling mud water all over my car, much less rocks.

The lower the positive number the more your wheels protrude out. Most honda offsets are around +40mm.
Yea thats why I got 16s to retain some styling. I have lightened lug nuts to reduce the added weight of the 16s. I have Z-speed nuts. They also drop 1 full pounds a wheel, about 12-14oz.
I have Parada spec-2 I picked up for 388 shipped.
