12v at the battery, but still cranks slowly!!!
I have been battling this car trying to get tit to start after the shave and tuck to no avail. I have 12.6 volts at the battery and the same at the starter. When I go to crank it over, the car sounds like it is really low on amps. I have good fuel pressure, I have good power, but not a very good crank. What could be going on here? Any help is appreciated.

Are you getting the 12.6Vs without ignition on? Turn your headlights on and re-check the battery and see what kinda voltage your putting out then. For instance during my stealth alarm install this past week, after programming options, etc with alot of siren chirps, I went to start the car to pull it back in the garage. It turned over really slowly and then the starter solenoid would just click. I had 12.4Vs at the battery.
I didn't have my headlights hooked back up yet. My bro was around so I had him hold the meter leads on the battery while I went to start it. When the engine was cranking slow the battery dropped to 6.XXVs. So I hooked the charger to it and its been fine.
My DEI backup battery was bad from the get go. It showed 12.6Vs. If I left the meter hooked to it and then tripped my alarm and pulled the battery cable off so then the backup battery had a load on it..it would drop to just under 7Vs..that wasn't enough to run the alarm. Sounds like what your car battery is doing. Its showing the 12.6Vs with no load placed on it. Once your turn the ignition to start the car the voltage is probably dropping giving you that slow engine turnover speed.
Good luck and hope I made sense.

The voltage at the battery means nothing, if the battery can't handle the AMP draw from the starter. Have it checked out by diag for free at autozone, kragen or wherever.

The battery is brand new. I thought that was the problem the first time, so I took it in and had them replace it. Now this battery is doing the same thing. The relay in the fuse block is clicking loudly though. Would that need to be replaced? I am stuck as F*** here!

you need to check.. your voltage drop at the starter while craking. it sounds like a ground problem to me... did you relocate you battery?
if so are you using the right gage cable?

Try the earth/ground wire on the gearbox
you can rum a jump lead front the -pole on the battery to the gearbox and see will it start then

What is the "proper" gauge wire for the power wire anyway. The tuck harness came with a 4 gauge wire to the starter from the fuse block.
Also the same for the alternator.

Re: 12v at the battery, but still cranks slowly!!!
Up'd the gauge of wire for the battery to the fuse block. It cranks over well. Now it still won't start! It has fuel pressure at the gauge, spark and the timing is right on! WTF! Is there any way; short of spraying fuel all over the place, to test the injectors to see if they are working right. And also, how do you trouble shoot a resistor box? What should the readings be at the injectors while cranking?
