Default 11 second b18b1

What needs to be done for a 95 civic coupe with a b18b1 swap to run 11's?

run a super large turbo at 30lbs. and you should be able to run 9's...hahha..if you dont already blow it up.

Big turbo, crazy internals, many lbs. of boost. What a noob question..it also depends on the car weight etc., These types of questions can only be given theorized answers, so what's the point?

Bottom line, you need a turbo with a built motor for a Civic with an LS to go 11's. Do some research in the Forced Induction forum to see what you will need in terms of motor reinforcement, engine management, and turbo kits.

haha my bad on the noob question, i kind of left a little bit of info out. I meant to ask what needs to be done to the ignition system of a 95 civic coupe with a b18b1 that is already built and turboed.

This is true, I forgot I was in the Civic forum. I usually hang out in the Integra forum, and I don't know of any stock LS blocks running 11's in an Integra. I've heard mid 12's on slicks and a moderately stripped interior, but that's it.

In a lighter Civic, I believe it.

nope. it wont. 150-170 is not enough to run an 11 second 1/4 mile time.

on a stock LS motor, you'll need a hefty size turbo (research) and a real good tune.
if you wanna pull some more power without increasing the boost level, throw some money into the head (port work, cams, etc).
