Whats needed to install a header??
what up,
I bought a d16y8 header for dirt cheap (to replace the crappy y7 header) anyway do i need to buy a new gasket or anything when installin it? and do the bolts need to be torq spec'd? thanks
also, has anyone ever taken off a stock header by hand?? i heard they can be a PITA!!!

Installing a header isn't hard. You need simple wrenches and sockets, as well as jack + stands. You will need to buy a new exhaust manifold gasket and you can reuse your donut gasket. It is highly recommended you torque the bolts especially on the head.

if its going on a y7 engine then u;'ll have to relocate the cat under the car, u'll need an ex cat, and an o2 wire extension, little bit more work
