"will i have major fun with this???"
Hell yeah, bro! Nice torque down low and sCreAMin' VtEK I love messing with people - they don't expect anything from my car until it smokes them. Sometimes I park on weekends with all the other cars and hang out (it's mostly ricers though). No one looks at my car until I pop the hood. Then a small crowd gathers, "Is that JDM.....can I have a ride." It's a lot of fun.

dont hate the cars man...they started what we are doing today. Hate the people who drive those cars; the ones that hate imports or whatever. Remember when you talk **** like that you are putting yourself and us for that matter on their level. Just **** up the cats that talk **** to you, regaurdless of what car they drive. i also own a 69 Camaro SS....beautiful car, completely restored....
btw, have fun!

Re: (Gunns)
Be prepared to waste a lot of money on gas just driving around in second or third gear on the highway... Oh man is it fun to just punch it and see the rpm's and mph's climb!
It's worth every penny because of the speed and it's worth more from the piece of mind that you still drive a honda, complete with stock reliability!
ps. how come honda always puts the wrong engine in its US cars?

Re: from 1.5L to GSR, wat should i expect?? (dose)
I just had a B18C1 Swap into my car and I'm having the hardest time easing off the gas pedal. Its just so much fun and it definitely is eating up a lot more gas due to the gear ratios and more displacement.
In terms of installing it, everything was pretty straight forward. My original motor had vtec so I didn't have to run any wires for vtec nor did I run a wire for a knock sensor cause I had my p28 rechipped. Enjoy the new motor, cause I am.

totally bro! all you have to do is put a completelly different engine in your car and could ALMOST keep up with stock LS1 f-bodys/vettes!
this is honda-tech. not "comparing cars that were built for totally different reasons-tech".

man every post i read your bashing imports when comparing them to demestics. Just cause your honda is slow doesn't mean they all are, he was looking for advice not criticism

only because i don't get it.
why would you build a honda to go fast in a strait line when you could build a v8 and be faster+cheaper? i don't get it.
why would you brag about being able to hang with LS1s (even though no BPU GSR hybrid could) when you had to change out your whole freaking engine to get to that point? i don't get it.
why would somebody even mention domestic cars on honda-tech? i don't get it.
this is my #1 gripe with the honda community, all the **** talking on domestics. even though 90% of the people who do the trash talking have never owned a modern muscle car, they have always had a friend, uncle, or goldfish who owned one and it blew up as soon as it left the dealership. its such bullshit and im sick of it.

good one. yet at the end of the day, i am happy because im not the one who blew 4 grand on a motor for the sole purpose of keeping up with a bone stock chevy.
and if he was looking for advice and not criticism, he wouldn't have said "**** firebirds, camaros, and corvettes". them's is ignorant riceboy fightin' words.
thanks.

Be prepared for the RIDE OF YOUR LIFE!!!!!!
I went from a studdering, oil burning, P.O.S., 153k cx motor to a strong 98 GSR motor and love the damn thing! I really am not that interested in dropping her or adding the 16" Gunmetal C8's even though I will after an alarm is installed. I just my option to whip 99% of the cars I see on the street. ...and to look like a stock hatch makes it 10X more fun
