1/2 done swap questions
Im posting this topic in both here and hybrid because i know alot more people look at this section than the hybrid section... so my question is...
I have a 97 EX coupe (EK) with the B18c1 (OBD-I) engine in it... Now it currently has no front lower mounts and i am kinda confused on what ones i should get. the stock D series mounts are said to work but im not sure if maybe i should get the Si mounts because there made for a B-series... So what front lower mounts?
Next question is exhuast... currently is also has NO exhuast. the only thing it does have is the 2 peice stock manifold. I read on "hybrid Honda" that any Cat back D-series will work because on the D's they put the cat right at the manny... so if i just get a cat back for a EK with a D-series (stock) will that bolt right up to the end of the manny?
I picked this car up from a kid here on H-T... he just needed to get rid of it and now ive got this car with the swap like half way done and am trying to get it put together so i can drive this monster! Thanks for any help... ANY is needed and apperciated seeing i USE to be a D-series guy myself... but looks like thats gonna change.
Sorry for any spelling errors... (in a hurry)

Exhaust is for a car, not for a particular engine. You get the exhaust that is specific to your car, i.e: 1997 Civic Ex 2 door coupe.
As far as mounts, the D series mounts work just as good, the only mount you need is the rear Integra mount. As far as whether to use better mounts or not, you can either get mount inserts (recommended) or an expensive Hasport mount kit.

Re: (Essenar83)
i understand that the exhuast is made for the car and not the engine... however the way the D-series was set up with a manifold then cat bolted right up front then a pipe going down under the car (down pipe??) and then the B18c has just the maifold tghat goes all the way under... im not sure if they would both be the same length and if i got the exhuast for a 97 EX i dont know if it would be long enough or to long to bolt to the B18s manifold... is this making sence???
as far as mounts... i dont really care about "quality" because ill put the ES inserts in them... im just not sure if the Si mounts were the same design as the non si (ie d-series) mounts..

The cat will bolt right to the exhaust manifold and you bolt your exhaust onto that. I had mine done custom so fitment was not an issue. Your D series mounts will work just fine, but like stated earlier you will also need the integra "firewall" mount. In addition to this I believe you are going to need the radiator hoses from a Del Sol VTEC.
The lower mounts are the same on the Si.

The torque mounts themselves you use from the exsisting car. The torque mount brackets you use from the exisitng motor. Use the cat back system from an ex (cat not in mani like dx's) Use a 4-1 header for a gsr.

Re: 1/2 done swap questions (B20 EJ6)
You don't need the rear mount from an integra. Yor civic one is fine. However, you do need the rear mount t-bracket from a 99-00 SI. All your other mounts are fine. You can even use the driver side civic spaceship mount if you want. (it will break shortly though)
