'05 Civic 5 lug conversion
I just bought a 2005 Honda Civic EX 5SPD at 500 below invoice. I don't owe any money on the car, so I have no payments to worry about. I also have about 5500 to start the project (suspension, brakes, wheels, and 5lug conversion) to start out with. I can get Honda parts at 10% over cost (know a few guys there).
I'm looking to do a K20A2 swap in it along with a 5lug conversion.
My question is.. can I use the RSX 5lug on the 05 civic ex's? Also, will the progress competition coilovers for the 05 civics fit with the 5 lug conversion? I'm also going to be doing a big brake conversion. I'm going to use Rotora for the front brakes and just do a small upgrade in the rear (pads/rotors). I'm looking to have a low 13 second car that can handle like its on rails yet make it unexpected to other people on the track.
