Default 00 EX Cel

pulled the code by looping the 2pin connector and got a steady flash which is code # 10 IAT , replaced the IAT , disconected the battery and the cel light never went off , but there is one thing that is bothering me , im running a obd1 ecu in a obd2 swap , does this matter when pulling the code?

this is probably the biggest mistake that people make. just because the CEL indicates the IAT it doesn't mean that the actual sensor is bad. it is something in the IAT circuit.

you should track down a service manual and troubleshoot the IAT circuit.

EDIT: I found the chart for obd1 IAT, hopefully it applied to obd2 as well. See post #8

That's the thing I hate about Honda CEL codes. Even though it may be labeled for a certain part or sensor, the circuit that powers it...may power other sensors as well. You just have to narrow down the possibilities.

Its driving me crazy cause i cant seem to find out why the cel came on , the obd2 scanner doesnt work either , it just says "error" lol. i meassured the resistance of the sensor and got 1.9 so the sensor is good , ive got continuity on the sensor wiring , i dont know what else to check

A code reader won't read codes from an OBD1 ECU.

Try resetting the ECU like this:
Plug the IAT sensor connector back in. Remove the hood 7.5A Back Up fuse for at least 3 minutes and then re-install.

Does code 10 still return?
