Default 00 auto tranny going...

I tried searching and found nothing. My daily driver is a 00 civic lx auto and latley its been acting up. The car is hard to shift out from park to reverse and back from reverse to park. Then this morning i put it in drive and the whole car clunked and then it reved up to 2500 and then launched slowly. Signs of my tranny going huh? Would flushing the tranny help at all? Any ideas? Suggestions?

Do you guys think trying high milage transmission oil would help? Should that be used on a honda or should I stick to Honda auto trans fluid?

Not sure but I dont think putting another type of auto tranny fluid will hurt. Have you checked the fluid level in it? I would probably try the flush and see if it helps, if not then you can get a rebuild kit from http://www.jegs.com/webapp/wcs...Id=-1. Or you could look in the classifieds and find another tranny, I saw a d-series tranny go for cheap.
