Default :::¿ Tips or Tricks ?::: ____ Best/Easiest way to remove 92-95 Gauge Cluster Trim ____

Okay, well the EJ2 I have came with some broke *** vents (they wouldn't hold their place... i.e. aim the AC vents .. both sides and they would just aim right back at the roof) and no clock

so picked up this killer deal from eBay, came with clock and all - everything functions, good to go I got it to installl

Reason for this post though is... I had one HELLUVA time getting the broken vent one out, eventually I kind of said ... **** it and let it snap on the bottom part that goes under the gauge.

I have a faint feeling I may get behind there again in the near future and was looking for tips on taking it out w/out breaking that ****

TIA

If I remember correctly, there's a screw behind either the clock or the hazard button that about half of everyone forgets.

pull all three screws, stick fingers of right hand into hazard switch hole (since you have it out to pull the screw) and with the left hand pull on the lower portion of the plastic below the cluster.
some wiggling from there may be required but after a few times it's cake.
