The Del Sol doors are much heavier than civic doors. They're reinforced because of the target top. You shouldn't have a problem finding civic doors, the wreakers out here always have a healthy amout of civics.

What years and models rear backing plates are interchangeable for a 94 civic ? I'm checking out some parts cars currently and want to make sure I find the right parts that fit.

Does this also mean that the integra calipers would bolt directly to a 93 Del Sol Si knuckle? From what ive read it seems i may need an integra/civic knuckle.

The civic si and delsol si have different size front brakes because of the civics ABS. As where the Sol vtec came stock with the larger front brakes similar to the civic SI. Which contradicts the thread. Any help / updated list would be much appreciated.

FRONT ------------ Integras 94-01 front calipers

Integras 94-01 share that same identical rotor size, and caliper bracket - which means Integra front calipers bolt directly onto the civic ex/si knuckle. The pistons are noticeably larger.

all Integras share the same size brakes.....minus itr. Dont get suckered into paying more for them, if the LS brakes are cheaper

92-00 civics, and eg si hatches will need an ex, em1, or integra front knuckles to bolt the larger brakes on

I'm new to the forum and not a Honda expert. So I apologize if I don't have all the information needed to answer my question, but I'm wondering if the headliner and windshield from a 95 civic sedan will fit in a 97 sedan. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

You can goto OEM Honda online parts dealers and compare part numbers. If they are the same then you know it's a direct fit swap.

I am also interested in this. I have a 95 civic EX non abs with bigger rear cast iron drum brakes. I want the smaller lighter aluminum rear drums from the 2000 honda insight, but my rear drum backing plate is too big so i need a smaller one from like a CX or perhaps any civic with a manual transmission and rear drum brakes, non abs?? The backing plate/backplate part is discontinued, so would the Rear Drum backplate from a 2000 honda insight work? or a backplate from an integra or delsol or something??? thanks.

Don't know about the rest of you guys, but I have personally seen someone take a whole EG out from between its wheels and stick an EK back in its place. Same goes for an Integra (except the ITR with its 5 lugs).

I didn't see a response to this question and I may be in need of a replacement tank. Any difference between the 6th gen sedan, coupe, and hatchback tanks?

I probably just need a seal but, just in case, I want to be prepared to start scavenging parts cars.

Motor: D16Z6 swapping in JDM D15B bottom end.
DX harness. Do I need the EX/Si harness for this motor to run? Some say I might, Some say no. You're all the smartest with this and the FAQs offered no help. Thank you.

So I have a 2000 Honda civic with a d16y8 and d16y8 automatic intake manifold and throttle body (vtec) running on a 2000 LX auto ecu, meaning that the sensor is on the throttle body. I just recently did my auto to manual swap and wanted to put in my P2P-a92 (2000 civic ex 5 speed vtec ecu) in but when I plugged in and turned the key it went limp mode. so we ran the auto ecu for now. what would be the best fix?? some say to drill the holes for a 2 wire sensor on manifold and block off the holes at the end. help very confused and tired of seeing y7 to y8 info.
