Has anyone replaced their horn that may have a recommendation? Doesn't need to be fancy, and preferably a plug and play. Trying to get someones attention with the Civics stock horn is like trying to get a teenagers attention with a Chore List. Its pathetic.
Anyone have suggestions?

Hella Supertone horn kit is a pretty common upgrade on these. I couldn't believe it when I got my car... Honda horns have never really been manly but these are just the weakest Honda horns I've ever heard!

Plenty of people are using the horn out of the accord. It's less than $20 and very easy to install/replace... once you get to it.

I for one like the stock horn. It's always been sufficient for the several times I've used it. It's not intended to BLAST something out of the way, but really only to draw the attention of someone.

Well put. Personally I think many drivers are too fond of using the horn to either get the attention of friends or to vent their frustration. The intended purpose of the horn is to merely alert someone to impending danger.

Too bad if you just got your baby suffering colic to sleep to be woken soon after by some ignorant dope saying cheerio to his mates! :-)
