Default Horn Failing

I have a 2007 Honda Civic. One day the horn went from working very loudly to not sounding. The horn fuse is good, but there is no power going through it when I press the horn. Where is the relay located? How do I test the relay? Is there anything else it could be?

Not sure if you could get water damage from a button type horn, but I guess anything is possible.

I guess now is a good time to upgrade to an Accord horn. Stop by the dealer and pick up a horn that was meant for the 2010 Accords. This could be swapped out and is a plug and play part.

Just make sure that you point the opening of the horn downward so that it doesn't collect water (it's a different shaped horn than the OEM civic horn).

You need a new horn, I have seen a couple of these fail when I was a tech at Honda, if you still in warranty bring it back, if not I guess upgrade to the Accord one lol

It didn't come into contact with any water during the time it worked really loudly and the time it stopped working, so I don't think it is water damage. Is there a way to tell if it's really the horn that's the problem?

Can I get a generic horn as a replacement? Would I be able to buy a Honda Horn at a dealership and install it myself? At Auto Zone, the price ranges from $32 to $60. Are certain horns better than others in some way?
