Re: tein s tech vs. eibach sportline
The price is indeed shipped. I need payment and address and I will handle the rest.
I will NEVER sell my retro. It was done by Customlightz and I love them. I have MDX shrouds, TSX projectors, a modification to the shield, and all blcked out housing
To answer K5, I had my alignment done at Firestone and they charged me about an extra $30. I got the arms length close and they did they fine tuning. They only had to take the back tires off once because I got so close. I added about 1/2-3/4 inch to each arm and it was almost perfect.
BTW, the Skunk2 arms are aluminum and they are much lighter than the stockers. I forgot how light they were until I put the old ones back on today.

Pre-setting the camber I actually took the back wheels off. During the alignment the guy took the wheels off to adjust it cause I guess that was the easiest way for him to do it considering the adjustment **** is buried inside the inner part of the wheel.
If there's an easier way by all means please share.

I was just curious if during the alignment they'd charge extra for having to [re]mount the rears repeatedly.

I have the sportlines and Skunk 2 rear camber kit and I absolutely love them.
I read a post a while ago about leaving 3 threads on the camber kit to leave the factory camber spec and it worked out very well.
I love the set up I have, I will have pics posted ASAP.

Other places that pay their techs by commission might charge you more. Just a heads up.
Now I just keep my car's alignment adjustments at my job and dish out like 20 or 30 bucks to get my guy here to do any adjustments. He's very good and has been into the Honda scene and tuning/modding for over 20 years so I trust him more than anybody.

Re: tein s tech vs. eibach sportline
I'm looking springs now for a FA5.
I've had sportlines on a DC5... that was a awesome ride
then I got a DB8 on Skunk 2 shocks and springs... that was a harsh but very predictable ride.
Now I'm trying to do a quick mod so I'm thinking about the sportlines
Just my 2 cents.

if ur only lookin at the eibach or tein. go with the eibach's. i got skunk2 and the only thing i dont like about them is there is a popping noise, but im pretty sure that is with any spring.

Re: tein s tech vs. eibach sportline
Actually it's not. That popping noise is probably either a blown or defective shock/strut or you bottoming out on your bumpstops. That's why with the Sportlines they specifically say to trim a portion of the bumpstops so that doesn't occur. That's probably what's happening with the Skunk2 springs to since they are such an agressive drop.
