A/C bypass for a 2010 dx-g
Does anyone have any insight on why the dx serpentine belt wont fit the dx-g?
A/C compressor bearing has play so I thought I would save myself a bunch of money and just bypass it using a dx belt. Went to Honda and got their belt for the 2010 and threw it on, too long?! I know you can bypass the AC on some of the 8th gen but it appears that Honda changed something in the later engines, thinking a pulley diameter??
Anyway, before I go and measure it all out thought I would check to see if anyone else knows what length belt I need.

For anyone searching this problem in the future part 7PK1550 is the belt you're looking for.
If you want tighter you would have to drop down to 6 rib and anything in the 6PK1510-6PK1537 range would probably do you just fine. Might be able to wrestle on a 6PK1500 but not sure how small you could go before you start straining the other components/pulleys/bearings.
