now ive notived a resistance. It doesn't want to go in gear. It grinds longer now. But I also need to bleed the clutch again. Have to pump it occasionally. But thats where I got a little confused. Me and my fried bled it and pumped the pedal until I tightened the drain plug mid drain. I'm doing something wrong Im sure. But its getting hard to just go in any gear now. Have to apply alot of force just to get into first or second. And If im at high rpms I have to hold it at the gear and let off the gas for maybe 30 seconds before it goes into gear.

Just bleed the clutch line like you bleed brakes. Pump the pedal a few times, then hold the pedal down, have someone open the bleed screw on the slave cylinder, let it bleed until the pedal goes to the floor. Tighten the screw and then release the pedal and pump a few times again, and repeat the process. Just make sure you hold the pedal down until the bleed screw is tighten, otherwise you will introduce air through the bleed screw into the system, and make sure the reservoir doesnt go dry.
If that doesnt help, you will need to rebuild or replace the transmission.. /thread

ok so pump the clutch and hold the pedal down, then open the slave cylinder. do you mean hold the pedal down to where it just stays on the ground without my foot on it? you lost me.

Hold it all the way down to the floor, then have someone open the bleed screw on the slave cylinder. Pedal should travel a little further down as the fluid bleeds out, once the pedal doesnt have anymore travel, tell the other person to tighten the bleed screw...now you can release the pedal and repeat the steps.

Watch this for concept
