2006 Civic ex lots of blue smoke at idle. bad pcv? valve seals? piston rings?
I noticed my exhaust has blue smoke coming out the back while at idle. I'm wondering if this is my pcv valve? I've read that it causes exhaust to smoke and some oil leaks, which there is some leaking around the valve cover. I've also taken into consideration that since I have 250k+ miles, could it be my valve seals or piston rings? I also recently gutted my cat but I do not think this has anything to do with it. if anyone could help me diagnose my problem it would be greatly appreciated. i can add some pictures of my spark plugs too if that helps.

If the engine has over 250,000 miles, congratulations! PCV, valve seals, piston rings, and bearings probably all need replaced.

that's what I figured lol. I just replaced pcv and I'm now awaiting my new valve seals. rings are good, compression test was @175, 161, 162,161.
