Default Bad valve seals or rings

I am having an issue with large amounts of blue smoke when I get past 3000 rpms. My car doesn't overheat but my car burns a large amount of oil. I don't notice anything at idle other than when I start my car. Engine is a b18a1 converted to obd1. I had an issue with the black box but got it all cleaned out. Stopped burning oil for a while after I changed the oil but it's right back at it again. Any help would be great. Thank you

Most likely your rings. A compression & leak-down test will verify this. Valve stem seals will usually puff smoke upon startup only and potentially deceleration.

you cleaned the breather box, but did you check the connecting hoses and the pvc valve itself?

if your smoking while acceleration its probably your rings that are bad. like mentioned a leakdown test will give you a idea on compression numbers.

You can change valve seals and hope for the best, but keep in mind a b18a1 is like 25years old. Valve seals will usually smoke on startup after the car has been sitting, and another symptom is when decelerating while in gear you will burn oil.

^ burning oil on decel can be rings or valve seals though, my last ls i beat to death and still wasnt able to blow it before my new motor went in. bad rings, bad seals, bad bearings, ran great though other then the big puffs of smoke lol

Also of note, you can have good compression rings but sticky oil control rings. Your compression numbers will be good and the car will still run strong but smokes on high rpm, heavy loaded situations usually.
