Car still goes into limp mode with P1361 code after replacing TDC sensor. The problem first happened about a month ago, and again yesterday. Replaced the sensor this morning and now the car can barely make it a few blocks without any issues.

Make sure the wires to the connector are not loose. Have you tested the connector that comes to your sensor for the correct voltages? Unplug sensor. Turn ignition on. Measure voltage between the TDC sensor 3P connector terminal No. 3 (yel/blk wire on mine) and body ground. Is there battery voltage? Measure voltage between the TDC sensor 3P connector terminal No. 2 (green wire on mine) and body ground. Is there about 5 volts? Measure voltage between the TDC sensor 3P connector terminals No. 1 (brn/yel wire) and No. 3 (yel/black wire). Is there battery voltage?

Is your car a 2001 ex? If so the first thing you need to look up is the service bulletin Honda put out for the P1361 code to see if your car is a part of it. Just google 2001 civic P1361 service bulletin.
