Default Starter problem?

Recently my car didn't start, thought it was a dead battery but the battery is fine. It now starts fine intermittently, when it doesn't if I leave the key in the ACC position for 10 seconds it will start, if that doesn't work if I depress the gas pedal halfway and wait another 10 seconds it will start fine. Is this a problem with the starter? Thanks for any info

Check the fuel pump and fuel pressure.

Sounds like the fuel pump is going bad it should only take a couple seconds for the pump to send gas.

you need to check the fuel pump and sometimes the fuel injectors need cleaning

Update: it was the starter, replaced it and haven't had any issues since. One hint was that hitting it with a wrench before replacing it helped the car start lol
