Just recently purchased used a 2003 HCH with 175k miles. There were no issues during the test drive, but lately, the IMA light will come after 10 minutes or so of driving -- the battery takes a full charge and until the light kicks on everything is working fine.

The CEL is on, and the codes pulled were P1600 -- IMA issue -- and P1562, with which the dealer wasn't familiar. A google search indicates that this means "Quantity Adjuster Upper Stop Value" -- I don't know what that means.

Also, if it helps, it feels like the transmission is a little kicky in the first gear.

Any ideas?
