No communication with scanner
2001 Honda Civic LX Sedan
Automatic
-car starts
-check engine light flash and stays on
-tried to scan code, scanner reads "no communication"
-About 30 secs after starting, the car blogs for a few secs, rpm drop to zero, tried to gas it, does not move, car will just died
-when the car is on, the drive gear selector (D4, D2, D)on the cluster does not light on. only P,R,N does
All the fuses is good and all relays is good also

Re: No communication with scanner
Was your battery light flashing prior to the incident? Your ecu is probably fried and can no longer communicate. Its probably trying to run in limp mode. You're gonna have to get a new ecu.
