Default K24A swap 2004 Civic LX Sedan

Hello new friends! I've registered with Honda Forums with a few goals in mind and they are:
1) Meet new people who are SME's in Hondas
2) Learn from YOUR experiences and Trial & Errors(no pun intended)
3) Gain bona-fide information for my builds
My history:
1999 Accord LX Engine Rebuild
2001 Accord EX Engine/Trans swap Hmotors
2002 Accord LX Engine/ Trans swap Jdmenginedepot
1996 Civic EX Engine Rebuild
1998 Civic EX Engine Rebuild/Trans swap
2001 Civic LX Engine Rebuild/JDM Auto trans
2004 Civic LX Engine Rebuild/JDM Auto trans-current project
1980 Toyota Pickup 4wd Engine swap
1982 Toyota Pickup 4wd Engine Rebuild/Trans swap
1986 Celica GT-S Clutch job.
98-02 accords and 01-05 civics auto trans are SHITTY! The 98 civic ex was driven quite hard, popouts & grinds.
The 82' pickup was with help of my dad, and 86' celica was with another friend. Everything else was done by me.
No intention on Boasting, but listing because I want to let people know that I know how to turn a wrench, but I'm a mess when it comes to wiring, electronics, conversion harnesses and which n what ECU to use with my current build?

FINALLY...
I ordered an 04-05 K24A & an Accord Euro-R 6spd LSD from Hmotors(Steve). K24A is currently on sale @ $899. Currently waiting on availability for an RSX or EP3 manual subframe?
Swapping into my 2004 civic which I am converting to manual. I will be using Ktuned conversion Harness so that my dash and all that good stuff will remain normal.
I'm looking for a definitive answer on using a K24A2 Manual trans ECU's compatibility? Will it run the motor perfectly fine, in my 2004 Chassis? I WILL be ordering the em2/es1 swap- package from Ktuned. Have a MT pedal assembly, and street clutch/flywheel(7.8lb) kit from Exedy. Whatelse would I need? I've been told I'll need Kpro, regardless of keeping the motor completely stock besides i/h/e, as it will be a daily driver. Thanks in advance to all!

The K24A2 transmission uses a different housing than the K20's. You'll have to modify your chassis just to clear it, and somehow adapt the mounts for it. You'd be better off using a K20 transmission.

toyomatt84, I have a 6spd LSD trans from the Euro-R Accord(CL7) with K20a. I believe the year is from 02-08?

Also to add, will my K24 Clutch/Pressure Plate and Flywheel clear the Housing of my K20A Euro-R trans? It's the exedy street kit with 7.8lb flyheel. If not, then I'll just get a K20 Clutch kit/Flywheel combo... But I want to really use what I already have. Thanks!

Ahh, I forgot about the K20 Euro-R. Its the same transmission as the 05-06 DC5 transmission, so you should be okay.

The clutch, pressure plate, flywheel assembly should clear the K20 housing just fine.
