162,000 bought at 158,000 not sure if it has ever been rebuilt, fresh honda fluid, only slips a very little.so little that i might be getting it mixed up with irratic idle, when it does fluctuate it only moves back and forth 200-300 rpm,so not that much.Heres the problem, when i am driving i will get a low pitche squeel around shift points, if i want to keep the noise to try and pin point it i can.If i give it gas or tap the brakes, or it shifts it will go away. it almost always does at a shift point. when i am cruising along it always shifts between 2500 and 3000, if i put my foot in it, it will always shift under 4000 usually 3500.i bought the car running on 3 cylinders, i do not know how long it has been doing this.could this be solenoid issue or is it something else.

Try a bottle of lubegaurd red.

Anything else is going to require a tear down.

So the chances are it is the clutch disc, or just something internal anyway.

only 200-300 rpm but it doesnt just slip up it slips up then back down.usually it makes the noise when it shifts between 2500 and 3000 rpm. that is when itshifts when im just cruising along it almost never makes the noise if i give it some gas and it shifts at 3500-4000.when i am just cruising it will do it at 1500-2500rpm but it does not do it constantly.it always does it when go up this little hill on my road, im only going 20-25 with low rpms.same hill higher rpms no noise

Can you get a video of it? Id be very curious to see it in action. Just do it on a normal flat quiet road so can hear the car.
