D17A1 water pump

Hey everyone!
i have a 02 civic w/ a D 17A1 motor. I just bought a water pump and realized its for a D17A2 which i have understood is Vtec. So my question is will this water pump still work w my engine??

It will work for all 2001-2005 Non-Si Hatchback Civics that use the D17A1 or D17a2.

Replace the timing belt and tensioner while you're there.
