cel light flashing at startup?
Sorry, I did search.... my gf's 03 civic is flashing the cel light 10 times at startup. Is this the tune up reminder?

Isn't it the Maintenance reminder light (not CEL)? Before too long it should stay on all the time...and then you can reset the light.

I didn't know that worked for our EM2s?^^^
I think he'll want to reset his Main't Req light (odometer button + turning car ignition on)...I'm sure it has been explained a time or two on here.

if its the check engine light it shouldnt flash when the car is running (unless you have a bad misfire thats occuring at that time). if the CEL is flashing about ten times wen you have the key ON engine OFF, then thats indicating to you that your monitor's havent all ran yet. if its the maint req light flashing at you go get an oil chage at the stealership and theyll reset it for you.
