I don't know what kind of sites you're looking for, because no single site deals with D17 transmission swaps.
Maybe http://www.car-part.com would best suite you?
Either way, there are plenty of threads about this subject, so search around.

Re:
you can do the swap but it will take a lot of work..
IMO sale your auto car then buy a manual car then start the turbo and the other power option. In that way i think you can save money, time and effort.
Anyhow these are the items came to my mind for the swapping.
Manual tranny must include flywheel, clutch disk assy.
Cable shifter
pedals(clutch and brake assy)
Clutch reservior, mastercylinder, slave cylinder(might be included in the tranny)
Clutch lines
Shifter assy, ****, shift boot and center console(right terminology IDK)
instrument panel(in case you dont want to see the shift indicator at all )
And the most time consuming part is the firewall which need to be rip off to install your new clutch pedal....wheew you need a very good faricator here to have a perfect install.
this is my contribution, hope you like it
Good luck.
EDIT: there's no site doing this swapping and to my info. NOBODY tried it yet, so maybe you'e the first one to do it. Let us know the progress if you manage the swapping.

I could see something from the 70s that you might find ONE of in good condition, deciding to do an ATX->MTX conversion on... But something so new and common? Just buy one with a manual transmission and save yourself the inevitable headaches and pain.

i did the swap here is parts list - 5spd starter youl need thatclutch pedal assembly
clutch starter switch
clutch master cylinder/resivior
clutch hard line
clutch soft line
slave cylinder
clutch/pressure plate
manual flywheel
hasport auto to manual trans mount
shift linkage/shifter
manual computer
and here is a bit off help for the swap posted on d-series .org by yours truly lol
Yes, the swap is the same for any 01-05. I've just finished mine, but I had a hard time with the ecu. I'm going to give a few pointers of what I ran into for folks because it was fairly easy. However, to my knowledge and that of both Honda dealers around, I was the first one to do this.
The parts list was all OK except the auto starter will not work on the manual transmission. Don't ask me why, it just doesn't fit. After the swap, take the manual ecu to a Honda dealer and get your ecu program downloaded from you auto into the manual ecu. You will have to leave the auto ecu in the car before you get it reflashed. Don't worry if the car runs like **** or gets relly crappy mileage, this is normal with the auto ecu. Also, don't try to go more than 140kph, even though the drive will seem to take forever.
When you are all done there will be about 6 wire clips on the auto harness that won't need to be plugged in. Watch out because there is one that is hidden behind your shift linkage which hooks into the Vehicle Speed Sensor which drives your speedometer.
Once it is all done, you start her up, and then try to shut it off you are going to notice that when you go to take the key out, it won't because your ecu thinks it's still in Drive on an auto tranny. Take the black plastic cover off the ignition, and to your left hand side there is a green plug in. Unplug it and voila! Problem solved! Oh and FYI, the 6 extra wire clips are on the passenger side of the car.
PS
I had a hard time with the dealers for the ecu cause most of them are idiots. Just ask them to do what I wrote in here and you should be OK. As you can see, it's an easy swap with just a few setbacks. Oh, and the best way to do it is to drop the whole k-member.

Actually alot of people have done it. You can probably find a DIY on 7thgencivic.
I did the AT to MT swap when i did the K20a swap in 2004.
