I just had the head gasket replaced on my daughter's 02 civic 1.7 vtech and now it is throwing P1457 and P0137...

Although there would be other issues if the fuse was blown, check if under-dash Fuse No. 4 (10A) is okay.

Sorry for not responding sooner! I posted and then left on vacation for a couple weeks...anyways, fuse #4 is fine...any other thoughts?

If you reset the ECU, do either of the codes return?

Unfortunately… Yes they do return I've reset them several times with my handheld scanner, driven the car for readiness tests and then they have come back on

The secondary O2 sensor may be bad.

Check for a fuel cap leak. Also check whether the EVAP purge valve is disconnected. If not, test the power and ground wire for the valve.
