Default 2002 Honda Civic ex oil leak

Leaking from top passenger side. It’s not coming from cam plug

Rear seal or head gasket, I'd bet rear seal though.

Separate trans from crankshaft, replace rear seal, re-assemble.

if replacing the cam plug you need to put rtv around the cam plug where it sits in the head and under the cam cap where it meets the head

Check out the 3 Vtec seals, valve cover gasket, and intake manifold seals as well as the rear cam plug. If its not obvious where it's coming from, then clean off the engine with a power washer or brake clean and rags, let dry, and spray the entire engine (including the back by the intake and from underneath) with athletes foot powder spray (I used 2 cans). For added security, I did an oil change and used Engine Oil UV Dye. Run the car for a while and use a UV light to see where the leak is coming from. The powder plus the UV dye might be overkill, but I didn't want to have to do it again (which is my current problem).

Hope this helps, and good luck!
