Turbotime Winter Rebuild07!! Just need a lil more juice.. B17 FTW
Well I crashed my car a few weeks ago forcing me to purchase another car but all is not lost! I had liability only so I was pretty much screwed on repairs so i picked this up to get me around in the meantime:
cheap, yes. ugly, yes. slow, ohhh yes.
theproject car!
start:
low(14psi)/high(17psi) boost
had an accident
BUT it also leaves me time and $$ to upgrade and fix the other car. So here we go!
Old Setup 305whp@17psi:
- t3/t04b .63 a/r
- 3" Custom downpipe
- Revhard Manifold
- Wiseco 9:1 on Crower Rods stock sleeved 81.5mm B17A1
- 00 CTR Cams w/ Omni spring and retainers
- 3" Kteller Exhaust
- 780cc precision injectors
- Hondata s200b w/3step
- back of block catchcan
planned NEW Setup (??whp@??psi):
- CCFAB Corey Topmount
- CCFAB Corey 3" downpipe
- garrett t3/t04e 60 trim/.63ar
- Chrome Pro
- VictorX
- Valve cover catchcan
- Cylinder head "refreshed" (hottanked, new seals, check everything is straight, 3angle)
Hoping for 400+whp on pump gas with a quick spool. Oh and I have some exterior upgrades planned too but thats a surprise! Well see... here are pics from the start!
--------------------------------------
First we gotta clear out all this old crap!
comin along...
much better!
more pics soon!

Re: (killaj12)
Pulled the head off today, just to find the goddamn sleeves were scarred up from what is TBD. Its either incorrect p/w clearance or too rich of a basemap when i first started the engine. Either way, im going to have to pull the pistons to check the clearances and the block will definitely need a hone as well

Re: (Boosted Chemist)
damn I hear you about that accident thing, I messed my car up too recently on only liability better than having NO insurance though and getting a fat *** fine.
Looks like you're bouncing back nicely though, sounds like it's gonna be a beast.

Re: (alfaaay)
So i got the frame straight enough to at least bolt up the new rad support, gave it a test fit today.... fit pretty well still need to tweak the frame a lil; my roomate chris in the background swapping in a new tranny on his car
Also wire up my new gauges, wiring was A BITCH, this is what i started with:
But i managed to clean it up and ended up here:
Also decided to start cleaning up the bay, relocating the battery, removed more p/s and a/c stuff, removed window wash resevoir too, minor wire tucking:
And heres where i am at the end of today:
gotta love the weekend!
