in the process of finishing off a 9005 conversion, and had some last minute questions..

have any of you guys had any problems with the bulb blowing up? I know they burn out faster, but I am just concerned with the bulb messing up my housing

I've had mine for over 6 months, And have had no problems whatsoever with them. I think they should be fine. Although mine are in a mx-3.

Just remember not to touch the actauly bulb when you are installing them, I've heard that leads to burning out/ blowing up.

 

it's the oil from your finger that will change the temp. of the glass' surface which can shorten the life of the light bulb.
