Not sure if this is the right spot, i guess changing bulbs classifies as appearance! Also with the archives down, i just need to make sure. With the 9005 conversion (high beam bulbs in low beam spot) in order to make it fit you need to do two modifications:

1) shave a bit of 1 of the 3 prongs that allow the bulb to click into place

2) inside the socket of the new bulb, shave/dremel away the two ridges so that it can be accepted into the 9006 connector.

Can someone please confirm this?
